Dragonstorms—confluences of raw magical energy—are spreading across the Multiverse. As these draconic forces threaten to consume everything in their path, the people of Tarkir have begun to mount their own resistance against these larger-than-life foes. This April, return to the beloved plane of Tarkir in its truest form. Join up with one of five clans and fly on the wings of wild dragons. It's everything you love about the plane, delivered in the best and boldest form possible.

Our six in-store pre-release tournaments will be as follows:

• Friday, 4/4 at 3 pm and 7 pm
  
• Saturday, 4/5 at 3 pm and 7 pm
• Sunday, 4/6 at 12 pm and 4 pm

What will you find in your pre-release pack?

• 1 randomized, foil rare or mythic promotional card (playable in the event)
  
• 5 Tarkir Dragonstorm 15-card PLAY booster packs
• 1 Tarkir: Dragonstorm Seeded Booster (14 clan-aligned cards including 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare)
• 1 Tarkir Dragonstorm spindown life counter

Each Prerelease Kit is THEMED around one fo the five Tarkir tribes. Players will be able to pick their tribes during the event, in order of registration. Additionally, we will ensure an EVEN distribution of the tribes across the player pool for each event. Register early to get your pick! If you are registered for a six-pack (all six events), then you will get one of each of the five tribe kits to use in the first five events. The sixth kit you receive will be randomly assigned.

Each player will make a 40-card minimum deck (25-minutes for deck-building) from the 6 booster packs in the pre-release kit! Bring your own lands if you have them. If you don't have lands, you can borrow store lands.

The tournament format is Swiss Draw (i.e. every players plays in all 3 rounds and is paired against a player with the same win-loss record). After three 50-minute rounds of play (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw), we will distribute PLAY booster pack prizes as follows:

• 9 points - 7 boosters
• 7 points - 5 boosters
• 6 points - 3 boosters
• 4-5 points - 1 booster
