On Saturday, May 7th, 2011, one deserving man and one deserving woman were crowned honorary "Superheroes of Spandex City". Congratulations to "The Mominator" (aka Yona Kaplan) and "Dark Panther" (aka Quincy Brown), the winners of our 2011 "Discover Your Inner Superhero" contest!
Contestants were judged on their character, attitude, creativity, and physical fitness. To enter, contestants received a physical fitness evaluation (similar to the Army Physical Fitness Test) at Mountain Island Fitness and submitted a "Superhero Profile" (questionnaire below) to Spandex City.
The Finalists were chosen by Mountain Island Fitness (maximum fitness score of 300) and Spandex City, and the public cast their ballots on Saturday, May 7th at Spandex City.
