"Bucks 4 Books" at Spandex City Comics
Spandex City is proud to offer "Bucks 4 Books", an innovative program to help our customers manage their graphic novel collections and earn Hero Bucks at the same time!
Here's how it works:
-- Bring in your used graphic novels to Spandex City.*
-- Based on the book's condition, you'll receive Hero Bucks** for your book, as follows:
- "Like New" books earn you 40% of the cover price in Hero Bucks.
- "Gently Used" books earn you 25% of the cover price in Hero Bucks
It's as simple as that! It doesn't matter where you bought the book, but the book has to meet the following conditions:
- Content must be appropriate for general display at Spandex City (i.e no "Mature Content")
- Book binding must be intact
- Original dust jacket (if applicable) must be present
- Book (cover and contents) must not be torn, folded, or defaced in any way
*Limit 5 books per day, please.
**The number of Hero Bucks awarded will be rounded down to the nearest whole dollar amount. Spandex City has sole discretion to determine whether a book qualifies as "Like New" or "Gently Used" and to refuse any book for any reason, including, but not limited to, content, condition, and current inventory. A maximum of 10 Hero Bucks earned for 'Bucks 4 Books' can be redeemed on the same day of the trade-in. Remaining Hero Bucks will stay on the customer's account for future visits. Spandex City reserves the right to discontinue or change the "Bucks 4 Books" program at any time.
